A calm, transparent journey at every stage

There is nothing to fill in here. We send you a plain-language email at every meaningful step, so you never have to wonder where your file stands. Below is the journey your application takes — explained gently, in advance.

Email-led

Updates arrive in your inbox — no portal refresh needed.

Human review

A real reviewer audits your file before transmission.

Most ≤ 72h

Typical timeframe for a CBP decision.

The six stages of your file

  1. 1

    Details received

Your file has been received in our secure portal. A confirmation email is on its way to your inbox with your reference number.

What to look for in your inbox: a message from [email protected] with the subject line beginning 'Your file has been received'.

  2. 2

    Initial verification

Our compliance team begins a character-by-character verification of your identity and passport details against passport conventions.

What this includes: cross-checking your name spelling, passport number, and date of birth format.

  3. 3

    Senior reviewer audit

A senior reviewer audits your entire file as a final safety net. If anything looks unusual, we will reach out gently by email for clarification.

Common pitfall we prevent: a single mistyped character on a passport number — the most frequent oversight we catch.

  4. 4

    Submitted for authorisation

Your verified file has been transmitted to U.S. Customs and Border Protection through our encrypted channel.

Why this matters: from this point onward, the authorisation decision rests entirely with CBP.

  5. 5

    Awaiting authorisation decision

Most decisions are issued within 72 hours. A small number of files take a few additional days for full review.

Please remain patient — no third party can influence the timing of a CBP decision.

  6. 6

    Authorisation status update

We notify you by email as soon as a status update is available. We will explain the result in plain language and outline any next steps.

If you have a question about the result, our human support team is here to walk you through it.

Cannot find an update in your inbox?

Please take a moment to check your spam or promotions folder, and add [email protected] to your safe-senders list. If you still cannot locate it, simply reply to any email we have sent you, or write to us with your reference number — our team will verify your status personally.

[SECURITY ADVISORY]

For your protection, we will never ask you to confirm your full passport number or password by email. If a message asks you to do so, please do not reply and forward it to our team for verification.

[EXPERT NOTE]

Many travellers feel anxious during the waiting period. That is completely understandable. Please remember: most decisions are issued within 72 hours, and our team will personally email you as soon as a status change is available.
